Four-Wheel Monorail Trolley No. A-189 consists of two trolleys No. A-188 coupled by a malleable load bar. It is a sturdy, free-running ball bearing trolley. It can be used in the ordinary way as a single unit, or for carrying racks or special carriers. Where the application is for light loads and requires a great many trolleys, the great carrying strength of the Monorail rail section will permit a wider spacing of hangers and the covering of longer spans. In most cases this will eliminate special supporting superstructure, bringing the cost of both equipment and installation down to a point where, for even very light service, the investment is justified. |

On the four wheel trolleys the assembly of the No. A-167 load bars on top of the trolley yokes brings the load up close to the rail for maximum saving in headroom. These load bars are regularly equipped with No. A-118 hoist hook bearings but any of the other fittings can be furnished at no extra cost. It assures smooth travel and trouble-free service. Four wheel trolley No- A-162 consists of two No. A-179 two wheel trolleys with No. A-167 load bar mounted in the saddle of the No. A-145 yokes. This load bar is regularly furnished with No. A-118 hoist hook bearing but any of the other fittings can be applied at no additional cost. The application of drop forgings at all load bearing points provide a greater margin of safety, extra long wear and lighter dead weight of the trolley itself. |

While the two-wheel trolley can be used in single units, it is especially recommended for use in pairs, attached to carrying bars, special racks, or for powder-operated chain-driven installations where any number of trolleys can be connected.
