Design Details

N/A Wheel Bases : Wide range of wheel bases available in each capacity range to meet C.M.A.A. wheel base to span ratio thru 60'-0" of Crane Span.

Tru-Tred Wheels : Precision machined from alloy steel with flangeless design to meet the most demanding crane service requirements.

Side Roller Guidance : Heavy duty cam follower bearings provide smooth non-skewing crane operation plus reduced crane wheel and runway rail wear.

Wheel Bearings : Heavy duty long life rated pre-lubricated and sealed Timken tapered roller wheel bearings designed to take the unavoidable shocks of crane duty.

Wheel Gearing : Alloy carbon steel precision spur gearing with large pitch diameter pinion gears.

Truck Frames : Heavy fabricated steel jig constructed for true-rolling truck operation. Split truck design allows quick easy crane erection on either open end or closed end runway system.

Center Drive : Model HD Helical Center Drives are available to meet your crane bridge drive requirements. Precision oil bath lubricated helical gearing is included for smooth efficient crane operation. A standard "Rightway" foot mounted drive motor is connected to the helical gear reducer thru a flexible coupling providing "positive drive" forward-reverse service. Adjustable electric motor brake is suggested for smooth crane deceleration and final stop.

Controls : Single speed heavy duty magnetic reversing control is available with a 115 V control volt- age transformer all internally wired to legended terminal strips mounted in a NEMA-1 enclosure. Adjustable ballast resistor is suggested for smooth crane acceleration and reverse plugging gradual deceleration for smooth stop.
