Jib Cranes

American Crane & Hoist offers motorized jib cranes which add a motorized drive unit to our standard jib cranes. The motorized jib cranes incorporate a soft-start for smooth acceleration or a frequency drive for smooth acceleration and multiple speeds. Brakes can be added as an option to decelerate and hold the boom in position. The Series 400 motorized jib cranes are designed for heavy duty, high cycle, and production operations. Series 200 motorized jib cranes have been designed for standard duty, general purpose, and maintenance operations. The motorized jib cranes can achieve 360° continuous rotation with electrical collector rings that can be furnished for customers who desire continuous rotation.

American Crane and Hoist also makes a retrofit motorized drive unit that can be installed onto an existing jib crane to change it into a motorized jib crane. Retrofit motorized drive units can be supplied with controls including soft-starts or frequency drives.

Replacement parts are available for almost every jib we have ever built and can be sourced from the S.O. Number (Shop Order Number) found on the Jib Crane Name Plate and on the user manual. Additionally, the invoice number can be used to identify the jib crane.

Bridge/Overhead Cranes

American Crane & Hoist manufactures both electric and air powered industrial winches. ACH industrial winches are built to provide reliability and assurance that it will handle the movement of industrial scale products and materials. ACH industrial winches are designed and constructed to provide the user with the best power and durability for a company’s lifting and pulling operations.

ACH industrial winches can have free spooling drums. They can be built with a torque limiter mechanical clutch that is automatically reset when excessive pull is released. In addition, there can be an automatic holding drum brake and electric shutoff. ACH industrial winches can have a cable drum pressure roller that assists in multiple layer reeving, keeps the wires taut on the drum when free spooling or when slack line occurs. Our industrial Car Pullers have two wire ropes that wind and unwind evenly to allow pulling in 2 directions without having to reatach the wire ropes. For very long line pulls our ERP continuous car puller can pull and unlimited amount of wire rope.

ACH winches used in industrial applications and settings have a totally enclosed motor which is part of the ACH high torque crane and hoist duty motor with a starting capacity of a minimum two times running. The industrial winches have drum support bearings as part of ACH heavy duty roller bearing assemblies. Industrial winches have an all steel fabricated winch base and drum for maximum durability with minimum 5 to 1 structural safety factor.
Monorails / Rails for Monorail Systems / 401 Rails

Monorail systems are designed to carry material overhead, freeing up space on factory or production floors. Monorail systems can be designed to follow any pathway, around curves, through doors with door openers, branch out into separate lines with switches and turntables, interlock into overhead cranes, and ... Monorails are either attached to the building structure they can be free standing. Monorail systems are made up from the following parts: Monorail track, Trolleys, Tractors hoist, Switches, Turntables, and Lift drop Sections. Monorail systems can be manual or motorized, or any combination of the two. Monorail track can be made with our fabricated patented track, or with standard I-beams. Our standard switches and turntables are made with patented track, but we can design an I-beam switch or I-beam turntable to match your particular I-beam.

Replacement parts are available for almost every Monorail we have ever built and can be sourced from the S.O. Number (Shop Order Number) found on the monorail Name Plate and on the user manual. Additionally, the invoice number can be used to identify the monorail.
